Professor Monsen:

I am very happy to report that our search for “Bigfoot” has been successful!! On May 17, Dr. Darling, Dr. Gladstone, and myself uncovered the remains of a mature specimen of “Bigfoot” in the hills near Port Costa.

We have a complete, and perfect petrified skeleton 8 feet tall. It must have weighed 600 lbs when alive. This is one of the great archaeological finds of all time. At last we have real proof of the existence of “Bigfoot.”

We are certain that this creature is the “missing link” between man and the great apes. We cannot fully comprehend the significance of this discovery, but it will be felt around the world. Certainly such creatures are alive today in the coastal mountain ranges of North and South America, and in the Himalayas. We are hoping to capture a living specimen for study, and we intend to keep looking until we are successful.

Thank you again for your financial support of this important work; without your generous help it would not be possible to continue our efforts.

I will contact Susan Foley, and arrange to safely deliver the skeleton to the Museum for study.

Sincerely,

Clayton Bailey
