Connie Chung (1946- ) is one of a very small group of women who have achieved prominence in American network news. She first joined CBS News in 1971 and rose to co anchor the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather from 1993 1995, becoming only the second woman to hold a network anchor job. Chung has also worked for ABC, NBC, CNN and MSNBC, including a position as co-anchor of ABC News’ 20/20 from 1998-2002. -- Label copy for Somebody, April 1 to August 3, 2008.
